Indian Language and Art Centre
Since its establishment in 2013, the Indian Language and Art Centre (ILAC), currently operating under Agaram Ltd, has been a leading institution in the community, dedicated to teaching Tamil language, Kalari, Parai, and other cultural and art courses. ILAC has successfully trained numerous students ranging from nursery to GCSE level in partnership with the British Tamil Examination Board. In addition to hosting Kalari classes accredited and trained by the World Federation Kalari and Parai classes in association with Nimirvu Kalaiyagam, ILAC has previously offered courses in Hindi language and Pencil art too. The centre also collaborates with various organisations to conduct events such as Thirukural competitions, speech contests, and Patti Mandram debates such as Northern Tamil Association UK. With a commitment to quality education, ILAC maintains small class sizes with no more than 5 to 6 students, ensuring personalised instruction by dedicated teachers.
